Petal & Proof is an independent beauty-discovery site that helps you find well-rated products on Amazon UK. We do not sell anything ourselves — every listing links out to Amazon, where the purchase actually happens.
Amazon UK carries a huge number of beauty products, and comparing them one listing at a time is slow. Our aim is to organise that catalogue into categories, filters and comparisons that make it faster to find something worth considering, using only signals that are actually on the listing.
We are not trying to replace your own judgement, a patch test, or advice from a pharmacist or dermatologist where that is relevant. We are trying to save you the scrolling.
Every product on this site comes from the public Amazon UK catalogue. We do not accept payment from brands for inclusion, placement or a higher position in any list.
Rankings are produced from four signals taken directly from each listing: customer rating, review volume, price, and the ingredients or features the listing states. Rating and review volume are combined rather than used alone, so a product with a perfect score from a handful of reviewers does not outrank one with a slightly lower score from thousands — a small sample tells you very little on its own.
