Editorial Policy
This page sets out how we choose what appears on this site, so you can judge how much weight to give it.

How we rank products
Rankings come from customer rating on Amazon UK, weighted against review volume. A product with a 5.0 average from three reviewers does not outrank one with 4.6 from three thousand, because a small number of ratings tells you very little.
We also use price, listed features and stated ingredients to group products into the categories and filters you see across the site.
What we do not do
We do not physically test products. We say so plainly because it matters: any site claiming hands-on testing of thousands of items is not being straight with you.
We do not write fake reviews, invent testing panels, or attribute opinions to experts we have not spoken to.
We do not use countdown timers, invented discounts, stock scarcity messages, or any other manufactured urgency.
Claims about skin and hair
Cosmetic products are not medicines. We describe what a product is formulated to do and what its ingredients are generally used for. We do not claim that any product treats, cures or prevents a medical condition.
If you have a skin or scalp condition, a persistent reaction, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to a pharmacist, GP or dermatologist rather than relying on a shopping site.
Accuracy and corrections
Product data comes from Amazon UK listings and is refreshed periodically. Each page shows when its data was last checked.
If you spot something wrong, tell us at hello@example.co.uk and we will correct it.
Independence
We earn affiliate commission from Amazon, as set out in our affiliate disclosure. We do not take payment from brands, and commission rates play no part in how products are ranked.
